I thought this was the best place to post.

I use a number of redstone lamps in my map that are turned on and off via a day/night sensor, on the google map under night view, these do not cast any light. Is it because I've uploaded my map during a day cycle when they are not powered? Or do redstone lamps just not render as lit when viewing the night version of the map? Is it possible to make non-powered redstone lamps render as "lit" in the night version of the map? Or should I just wait till night and upload my map again when they are lit?

it's excactly as you said. if you want to have lit lamps at night, they have to be switched on in the map you upload. that said, they will be lit in the daymap, too.
save your map at night and reupload it
