I made a world in the nether, it's a pity the map doesn't yet show the nether, I dunno why. It would be rather cool, no?

I started to make a city in the sky above the ravine, but I kinda only really got done with the walkways between houses, I need some inspiring house designs there.
Anyway I found a little cave near the base of the structure and I built a portal to the nether there, some place I could call home.:D

true story.
I started a world and started making a treehouse.
Now for some reason I went off to look for stuff, but it quickly got dark, started raining and I didn't leave any torches or markers to landmark where I'd been or how to get back.
Compared to my newest map it's not as impressive.
However out of curiousity I need to know where DID I build the treehouse? and where the hell did I end up?
Cos when I died I respawned nowhere near the damn treehouse and got even more lost.

The new one I started work on since my old one glitched like a bitch.
I started out by tring to build a very tall construct near the spawn pont to try and get a lay of the land.
Then I heard about This site and I figured mapping would be easier with you guys at my side.

I made my construct into a treehouse botanical garden on top of a big plate.
It's like a totem pole you live in, and it's gonna have a whole forrest on top.

Ok so I've dug up about 11 diamond crystals, (so I'm probably doing better than my last map already) but I've also come across about 4 dungeons, one by complete accident.The others by using this mappy thing to get a rough idea of loacation and then rapidly flicking the F key to re-render the ladscape underground and watching for the flames.
As they're the only things that don't seem to need re-rendering when you take away the fog.
Handy trick. :P

I had two wolfies as my pets but they fell in the pit trap at the base of my construct.
Doh. >.<
I decided to build a quay out over my spawn point so I hd somewhere safe to spawn. So far I think it looks ok. Anyway. Having fun again... yay!

I decided to build a lighthous so I have so sort of guide back to home when exploring the soutth/west islands, and in the basement is a tenel to a nice circular room I decided would make a great place for a gate to the nether.

After getting lost in the nether I decided to use the obsidian I had left to build another gate to get out. And now... I have no idea where I am again.

The cavern I had teleported to seemed to have no opening to the surface and so I decided to travel back through the Nether to the lighthouse, where I decided to build an underwater walkway to a dome where I planed to start some deep sea strip mining.
After that feat I dug around the basement of my wooden construct for some more diamonds and farmed som more obsidian to make another portal in the Nether. But this time go in the oposite direction if possible. My result was a floating portal above an ocean. But at least I was above ground and the Compass was working again.It took me three boats to get back to the lighthouse

I set off to the south to a spot I saw was choc full of pumpkins and to my suprise there was a total of 12 pumpkins ready and waiting for me. Jackpot. Before setting off back I noticed there was a build up of clay off to the east of there on the cartograph and as I set off I noticed the cartograph showed a dungeon in the vecinty... after plowing around down under the mountain between the pumpkins and the clay I started to lose hope and wanted to check the cartogrtaph one last time to see if I'd been anywhere near it in my attempts to locate it.

I took some time to build an underground train terminal. I needed to use a hack to get some more glowstone (after the update to make glowstone 2x2 instead of 3x3, AFTER I'd already used all my glowstone dust) kinda felt like I had earned it. But then I haxxed a little to get enough fences. I don't think I like getting only 2 pieces for 6 sticks.

Andyway I made a nice underground terminal, and I made 4 platforms. North, South, East and West, so I could jet off to different corners of the map in a heartbeat.

I set about laying down some track in a straight line Southward until I found the snowy bit and decided to sstop there sor a break under a mountain. Then I got this crazy idea to level the top half of the mountain and build a massive castle, well it's pretty vast, but it's not the biggest I have plans for. This one I HAD blueprints for as well. But I lost them. Most of the layout remans the same (from memory) but some minor details are different.
I'm not sure I like the porticullis idea...

After finishing work on the Castle to the South of Jungle Island I went back to the Underground train terminal, and decided to head West until I found a nive big island, there I met a Fellow named Chriz who was building a huge wall to keep people away from his village. I helped him and the President saw us and required some help remodeling the Pagoda, I offered to help build on the Presdiential suite wile Chriz made some much needed improvements to the landscape... avec la TNT. All in all the village looks rather cozy now and I'm working on establishing rail conections with this town and mine for the future.
Meanwhile Chriz has wandered off alone into the great unknown and gotten lost.
I thik he headed North but I can't be too certain. Last I heard he'd taken some TNT to a cave somewhere and commited Hari Kari... it may be too late, but I have to try.
