My 8th survival map, started almost a year after my last one.
For this map all I did was literally build a wall. The wall is by far the largest building I have ever made, stretching from a forest hills biome all the way to an extreme hills biome. The wall is made of cobblestone, about 8 blocks high, and 6 blocks wide with the middle two making up the hollow inside of the wall. There are three levels of the wall:
Lower - A foot path that also connects to the bases and gates leading beyond the wall.
Middle - Houses a minecart track made for quickly traversing the length of the wall.
Upper - The top of the wall is also a footpath where you can see both sides of the wall.
The wall also connects to three bases that also serve as resting point before the gates that lead to the other side of the wall. From east to west:
White Loft - A small structure made of polished diorite. Includes a small second floor housing a bed for sleeping.
Potatowatch-by-the-swamp - A farmhouse with potato farm attached. Includes a bed, chest, furnace, and crafting bench. Not to mention an ample supply of potatos.
Gulf of Dreams - A stone tower that is nestled within a small bay cut off from the swampland biome by the wall. Only has a crafting bench on the second floor.
