About the Map

This is Mineopolis, a Minecraft city project being built on my server. The plan is to have a giant city, Mineopolis, surrounded by small towns and villages as well as countryside

At the moment the Downtown area of the City is pretty much complete, suburb and office areas outside of Downtown are now being built.

The City is no where near finished yet, however, suburbs are being made all around the city. The City has different eras in different areas. Older eras in the city centre and getting more modern has the city goes out. There are 4 subways lines which have different eras in relation to the era of the area they are in.

Overground railways lines are also being built. These lines take you from Downtown into the suburbs and outside the city. Overground railway lines also connect the Airport into Downtown Mineopolis. The Roads have 5 wide lanes and some roads have bus lanes and also bus stops.

A fun (pvp) Team Deathmatch map for up to 24 players! A host will run the game while the contestants battle it out down on the battlefield. Take over positions (A,B,C...) to gain an advantage over the rival team. Use teamwork to overwhelm the enemy with brute force or straight strategize to win!

Hide'N'Seek! The ambitious project I began a couple of weeks ago and completed with the help of some friends. I had the idea to make this map after my friends and I thought it would be fun to have our own LAN server (over Hamachi) to play Hide and Seek maps. However, we couldn't find any maps that had a good replay value, most of the maps had barely more than 10 hiding spots...which was kinda lame and meant that we had to keep downloading new maps all the time. So, this is what I have made in response, an insanely complex and expansive map that is full to the brim with hiding spots and escape routes (for Tag/Manhunt). Seriously, it's pretty crazy, I wouldn't even want to begin counting the number of places that you can hide in. The castle alone could have the seeker searching for 30 minutes. As for the actual design of the map, since we aren't expert decorators we went for functionality and tried our best to make it look good...so don't judge the design! Hope you have fun with the map and please tell us what you think...should we make another? (Which will be much better than this as we learnt SO much!)
