about two days before i went back to work my only computer died and would require me to replace it so it will be a few months to save up. so i wont be the server but i will try to be on the forums as much as i can to keep up to date on what is going on
get a raspberry pi, it's 25$ :-)
Sorry to hear that af. It's a tough day when your computer dies... For the cheapest high quality computer, I would recommend building your own if you can.
And what exactly do you mean by died? What happened to it? Have you tried turning it off and back on again? Well is it turned on?
(Now a fan of IT Crowd)
That sucks about your computer. What's it doing when you turn it on? Sometimes it's a cheaper fix like a power supply or hard drive ($50-$100).

My nephew just got a pretty bad-ass laptop for about $500-600 that can handle Diablo 3 at max settings. I was pretty impressed.

I'm not sure what the make or model it is, but I thought it was a pretty good deal.
yeah its more than a restart problem it cant open the o.s. anymore and the starting boot drive no longer works. my dad took it to best buy but they wanted like 75 just to look at it so i might just save up for a good desktop which will handle my other modded games

If you're seeing that, the hard drive probably crashed (99% of the time this is the case). If you have a restore disk or a Windows XP/Vista/7 disc (or at least the product key sticker on your computer) then it's fairly straightforward to fix.

If you want some help to work through it, I'd be happy to help guide you through it.

thanks for the offer but when i got it did not come with the disk and before the starting boot drive thing went out i had the option to reset it to the out of the box state like brand new but it would fail stating it was unable to continue due to something i was not sure about but now i dont even get that. iam thinking about getting a rent to own computer if i can get a good price even if i do it might be like a week or two before i can get down there but i am hopeing it will work out Smile
Sorry to hear that you can't fix it. I would be happy to help you as well, although skeight would probably be the better choice.
And whatever you do, don't buy your computer from the store! At LEAST, but it on a website where you can customize it. Ask Tuddsfn where he got his awesome Aleinware-quality laptop.
finally abit of good news i found a awsome desktop at best buy here is what it has: amd six-core fx-6120 processer,10 gb ddr3 system memory,1 terabite hard drive,wifi,1080p hd compatiable and has a radeon hd 7450 graphics card with 1gb dedicated memory for like $ 659.99ish iam not a computer guy but that sounds awsome but it will take a long time too save up though
A good way to determine is that is a good price is to try to find a good price for each individual part, and then add it up.
Parts:
Case
Power supply
RAM
CPU
Motherboard
Hard drive
CD Drive
Operating system might be a good thing to figure into your price estimate if you have a problem with pirating.
That should be everything.
But, yeah. That computer kicks ass.
