So i clicked the "Download" button next to a map, like the new featured sky zone map for example. Winrar opens it, i unzip it into a folder in my downloads section...but how do i open it in minecraft? it doesn't show up my single player or multiplayer maps... i guess i have no idea what i'm doing... haha, an obvious answer would be alot of help Smile

You have to put it in your Minecraft saves folder.

I like to create a shortcut on my desktop to this folder.
  1. Right click desktop and choose New -> Shortcut
  2. Location will be: %appdata%\.minecraft
  3. Give it a name
Once you do this you can just double-click the icon to open the folder. In here there is a saves folder where you put downloaded worlds.

This is also where the texture pack folder is for adding new texture packs that are downloaded.
