This is a huge primordial desert map, made by the primordial map generator and is the biggest primordial map in existence!(That I know of) It took me 2 hours to generate, so get this map if you want a huge primordial desert and don't want to spend forever generating one yourself. Its a perfect map if you love survival maps or exploring. Its so huge you don't have to ever worry about hitting its borders! Its mainly desert, with volcanoes, mountains, dungeons, temples, and oaises to find and explore and there is treasure hidden everywhere!

Same map I got, but with custom npcs.
All next updates will be here, I separated it in case if someone want basic map without them. Main structure and village updates will be here too and first 1.o version will stay as it is most likely.

Idea:
Idea is to create Huge adventure RPG map with custom npcs what give you quests. You will fallow several main quest-lines and by choices you do, you will get several endings.
If possible I will try to add several begginings too what give you different starting locations and main questlines. Like Dark and Light campaign.
Mining will be disabled and it will turn fully to RPG/Adventure map.

Currently there are done less than 10% of what I want it to be, maybe even less.



Changes at V 1.1=========================================================
Added custom Npc module
Added about 10 custom npcs some with interesting interact lines.
Currently no working quests, but you can hire already.

Names are set.

All npcs are in main biggest village.

Currently nothing much changed, just some more custom npcs walking around and some dialogs under interact lines.
Added some referances, like Edward says quites from Edward in Twilight.

Idea is to add more similar npcs to make playing more fun and interesting.

Some issues.
> You can hire Edward as follower, but it does not exactly do anything.
He fallows you yes, but it does not seem that he attack anyone. He will attack you when you hit him.

> Some damages are set really high, so there are npcs what can kill you with one hit twice. That is one of things what will ned to be fixed.

> Sometimes npcs do not do what they was said to do, so you can find some guys randomly jumping, stuck in floors, floating and stuff like that. Well... just like in real life.

V 1.2====================================================================
> Little changed damage rates.
> Now followers and guards attack mobs, but they may attack iron golems too...
> Added some quests to 2 or 3 npcs. Dialogs to several npcs. Some dialogs open, appear or are only active while on quest.

Added more dialogs what are hidden for now, because they dont work they way they must...

Some quests are daily so you can do daily jobs to get some coins.

Coins have no use for now, but shop will be one of things to be added soon .

Now total 4 nether portals most likely later I will destroy them, idea for them is to create distant locations.

Minor map updates one more redone village. Added some npcs, mostly guards in castle and fort dunkof .

Map transferred to new minecraft version (1.5.1, but some npcs are still buggy.
Added 2 new locations :
Forgentau tower with some building - full with hostile mages and priests.
Buildings are more or less done, but need to add some loot.

Started huge location near Forgentau tower with underground labyrinth.

Some minor edits and fixes. But still long way ahead .

All npcs in Biggest village was killed, we will remake them all as custom npcs.

Some issues
> Grammar are still bad... but that is not big problem. All texts will need to be redone one day, sometime later.
>Now killing any npc gives no exp and 99% gives no items too.
> All npcs respawn, even if asked in quest to kill him, he will respawn. It is set like this because if you kill him then he is deleted from map and then may be problems returning him, so if you screw up, all world is screwed up, so as monster or other npc can kill vital npc and we dont want that.
> Quest system is not so functional as we may want, quests for minecraft are recent feature/mod and quests can be done as complicated as this system allow us .
> With high resolution texture packs custom npcs stay low quality so as some items, maybe in future we will get update what allow hi-res textures.
However it is still playable with hi-res textures, but some stuff are still low res ...

I got back my old(better) pc :) so I will maybe try my success on server and some hi-res texture packs.

p.s I will not import and have not imported any stuff in map, it is not interesting and fair if you copy code of other creations and paste in your map.

p.p.s Even if it is fanatasy map, my idea is to keep realism here, so no huge diamond buildings, floating catles here and stuff like that. I have idea about Atlantis - underwater town, but ofcours as much as it looks more or less natural.

p.p.p.s Materials for all this most;y will be cobbersote, stone bricks and wood. In medieval time you did not normally had houses full of gold and diamonds, people are poor and resources are limited so as houses and vilages are looking simiar too.

p.p.p.p.s This map will be slowly updated time bytime, but only time by time, it is just side project I do when I have free tie .

Consists of many settled areas, the main ones connected by my "skyway". Complete rail system with stops\changes. Theres a water temple, a fire temple, a huge-antic tree\house, bunch of 8-bit's, a huge tnt-crater, giant underground chambers, a big wheat farm, a nicely decorated deck, etc etc. We like to build everything in excess =p.

There is a HUGE highly detailed fortress\castle I like to call "FarKeep". It has been my main focus for a while now. The top section (rich area) is mostly complete, and the entirity of the huge land mass we chose is walled off rather fancy, but the bottom area, the poor district, of town is a work in progress. There is alot done, but still a bit of space left to add stuff in and customize further. There are many small homes and buildings, most completely furnished

Most recently we have been working on a gigantic(the usual for us hehe) Ice palace. It is massive in proportion with a diameter of over 140 blocks! Much detail has been put into crafting the exterior of this area. There is a Mob Arena in the center. It is quite fancy, let me tell you! You can fight hordes of enemies, and custom-built bosses for prizes!

Here are screenshots of just SOME of the things listed here. You can't even scratch the surface of this map using pictures or the map viewer, you just have to wander around to appreciate how much is there. Enjoy!

Fun facts about vasgaard:

-Player-driven balanced economy, complete with trading, npc-shops, and a virtual player-shop!
-Player housing ranges from free to really expensive, so your money actually HAS A USE!!!
-Earn permissions based on MCMMO powerlevel and play time! The more you play, the more you unlock!
-Mob arena!! Fight waves of enemies and bosses for EXP and PRIZES!!
-Fully functional magic spells system! (On the server, you must search for hidden book-cases that contain the knowledge you'll need to cast spells! They are everywhere, and the spells are very fun!)
-World guard, and lockette enabled!
-Very active admin staff.
-Rail system takes you to most settled areas!
-Server runs McMMO, a minecraft leveling and skills plug-in. Train your skills, get XP, and gain special abilities and loot for your efforts!
-Server also runs Multiverse! Sky world, nether, normalverse, multiple maps! We have it all =D!

A SMALL NOTE TO THOSE WHO DOWNLOAD:
Be sure to set fire_spread to OFF in your server\worldguard config, or the gigantic tree, and lots of different wooden homes on the map will burn down! I like to make chimneys, and wood doesn't take very kindly to fire!

A few minor fixes. The Tower Of Genji aspect is still in progress; the rest of this huge adventure map works and is playable.

Made some coding tweaks in light of the recent 1.12 updates. Also fixed the 'boss levels' of both The Pyramid Of Great Geezer and The Devil Temple so that the player isn't faced with endlessly spawning bosses. Also fixed the endless night glitch.

++ UPDATED 28/12/16 ++

Work begun on The Tower Of Genji - a place of trials and tribulations to test the skills of the unwary Minecrafter...! Updated some of the in-game randomizers - Double Jeopardy and the like are now truly random in how they activate. Tweaks made to bring coding into line with 1.11.2 updates. There is a very simple game built into this map - simply "Find Wally" - which can be played by a single player or multiple players if the map is uploaded to a server. In multiplayer mode the first team to find a Wally wins (there are now 20 Wallys loose in the world and there are clues and booby traps dotted around the entire map). Obviously the game works best if played in Survival mode - and mining the buildings and structures (except where obvious) definitely counts as cheating! All the locations are geared towards the Where's Wally component of the game - a few are easy to find while the others are so cunningly hidden it will cost you dear to find them.

N.B. A word of warning - the Nether portals built into the Devil Tower are all functioning but were placed ostensibly for the aesthetic effect. They will all take you to the Nether and back but I've noticed that attempting to teleport after a trip to the Nether risks the game crashing (you teleport to a chunk that refuses to load). I advise leaving the Nether well alone (it is not part of the Where's Wally game - there is no Wally in the Nether) as teleporting is an essential requirement of the Where's Wally game (a lot of the clues are teleportation co-ordinates hidden in books that enable you to travel around the realm). If you do find yourself in the Nether the best thing to do is save the game immediately after you return to the Overworld, close and then restart Minecraft. This seems to eradicate the glitch.

This is a very huge Map, I'm working on this World since 2 years. The Map contains 4 bigger Citys and a lot of smaller Villages. All are connected through Railways. Furthermore there are 2 Airports, A Nuclear Power Plant, a rebuild of Tshernobyl and a few Buildings from Movies or Reallife, like the Empire State Building or The Stark Tower from The Avengers. I hope you will enjoy the Map :)Im Sorry Guys my PC broke down about 2 Months ago but now it is fixed so ne Updates Soon!

There are version with custom npcs out too. ( It seems to be working even if you have no custom npc mod, just custom npcs do not shw up, so it is recommended to use that map, so as it have some more buildings in stuff in it. )

It is still not finished and is creative map I was making for some time already. Soon I will make lets-play video where I will show what I have here, at least big part of that.
It contains 4 naturally spawned villages with some additional lightening, buildings and defenses.
3 of them are desert villages and are not built up much, next casual village (main screenshot) is built up pretty much and is connected with castle what have some additional buildings. Castle and near castle buildings was populated by me and there are pretty much of villagers too. Below castle and village are tunnel , mine and dungeon systems - natural ones and some created or expanded by me.
There one more unnaturally made place what contains villagers, it is fort near castle it was meant to be some king of religious sect, so there may be some confusing signs. They are mostly made by me, but some are inspirated from other sources) , if I remember right it is only one with automatic 2x3 block gate (experimented with sticky pistons) , this place is almost done expanding and is closed structure. So it will not change much. Only thing needed it better underground system here.

There are some more Easter eggs hidden within a map including tree houses and caves.

There are more to come.

I tried to make it all look natural, was thinking how would be structures and pillars made naturally, at least a little bit.
Idea is to make it huge adventure/survival map where you can explore kingdom and stuff like that.

Anyone is free to use this map if credits remain to me - Sarkenhard.
And please inform me too, before you do that.

Later idea is to add custom npcs with some quests.

It is better to use texture-pack with this,I used SMPs-Revival
It is not best but is ok with slow end computers and laptops (it works fine on my laptop)
