Made using world paint, this is a minecraft world thats just one huge forest of densely packed trees, be a jungle explorer and discover huge mountains and plateaus. This what a minecraft forest should be.
The city of Amida (1) was founded 40 years (2) ago around a small village. First the city was protected by stone walls and then extended to enclose two more villages with a wooden palisade. The city color is the yellow and black flag which depict the triumph of the sun over darkness. The temple is also linked to the meaning of the city color's since it is dedicated to the unconquered Sun. All minecraft players will know what it is about ;)
Underside Amida you will find an extensive railway to the fortified desert city to the west and a fully functional sewer and rain water collection system.
Linked to the city by a long arched stone bridge lies the royal fortress. A beacon is shining at night through the central dungeon. The king colors is the white and blue flag.
Further to the north the strong black fortress of Tharsis protect the northern frontier. It include a set of maze and parkour trials to test adventurers. The fortress and it's surroundings are Count Delbareth's domain.
The south border is the domain of Baron DaftPixel, recently anointed knight of the realm. It feature a fortified castle build on a hill commanding the surrounding plains and village.

- DaftPixel (South castle "Ebur" and "Bar-on-the-plains" village),
- Delbareth (North black castle "Tharsis" and surroundings villages),
- Avanlance, (Village "Brie-on-the-water" to the west),
- QMD/Galien d'Arcy ("Amida" city and royal citadel).
Our aim is to build a city and it's surroundings with believable scales and structures. In order to do so we focus on realistic features. E.g. all houses have stone foundations, fortified walls extends to the rock underneath. Interior structures are supported by arched masonry or timber frames. Mines and quarries have also supporting structures.
Most style are inspired from late antiquity and early medieval architecture. Religion is polytheism with a preference to Roman naming conventions.
All work was done in survival mode, vanilla minecraft.
(1) the name of the city was chosen as a tribute to the heroic fight put by the Gauls legions during the siege of Amida in 359 as related by Ammianus Marcellinus.
My own personal city I've been slowly creating for over 4 years, I'd like to keep it forever and just keep going. If any of y'all play it and create some cool ideas contact me I'd love to see!

Updated several buildings,completed the underwater tunnel as well as an underwater biodome. Some jungle updates, a few Egyptian City updates, signs and place-names etc.
This is a huge primordial desert map, made by the primordial map generator and is the biggest primordial map in existence!(That I know of) It took me 2 hours to generate, so get this map if you want a huge primordial desert and don't want to spend forever generating one yourself. Its a perfect map if you love survival maps or exploring. Its so huge you don't have to ever worry about hitting its borders! Its mainly desert, with volcanoes, mountains, dungeons, temples, and oaises to find and explore and there is treasure hidden everywhere!

Canyon City and Observatory: canyon, radio telescopes, airport, seaport, container ship, bus station, ice hockey arena, football stadium, skyscrapers, hotels, shops, concert hall, amusement park, fireworks machine, ......., etc.

My single player world. Still a major work in progress. Also most building are unfinished and need details added. Would love feed back and ideas. I usually build on peaceful on this map so if something is not lit enough please let me know.

Added lots of details to the buildings to try and make them more complete. I feel like the map is starting to come together. Planning on building a large port outside of the wall leading to the main gate.
Added pathing, shrubbery, torches, and rails and torches to the entire wall.
Well added a few hundred torches to help light the place up. Also added to watch towers that I really like. I also worked on the front entrance at the gate. I added some large brazers to help welcome you in. My next big task will be adding details to the wall itself it very plain and needs more depth.
Finally back added a few animals farms also my large building I wanted to build became a throne room type building. The throne room, is still in progress it will have a large garden on the roof that still needs to be completed as well as the second floor. I will be adding more small details to the homes also. Again if anyone has any suggestions let me know.
Few small changes and the start to my new large building should be cool. Also library is pretty much finished for the most part.
Added new large building I'm calling the library. I'm still trying to figure out where I want to put the main village of probably around 10 dwellings. I have also started adding some small details to the paths and will probably redoing allot of the major ones. I think i want to have a large port outside of the walls that will lead to the main gate.
Well major thing is I pruned the existing terrain around the wall so that it could be regenerated for the new biome updates. There are ares that are kind of crazy where mountain areas popped up so i will be doing some clean up work so that the transitions are smoother. Also big front gate is in.
Base of the wall is finished and lit on the top walk way. Starting on wall towers and hope to begin design on a large entry gate.
Started building a large wall to surround my "village" to give myself some limits. I figure this is the best way to really make it feel like one settlement. I also think it will help me better place large and small structures.
Added underwater compass, paths to connect buildings, and a few more small house type dwellings, and a few small farms.
