This map was made solo by me month ago, and it's still in progress.
Based on real events.
The idea was inspired of a HUGE abandoned soviet factory in Russia. It was abandoned in 1993 due to the fact that the plant threw harmful substances such as protein dust. The plant was engaged in the production of fodder yeast by hydrolysis, as well as by processing waste oil - paraffin. It resulted in a protein-vitamin concentrate, which was considered useful and very effective. But, as it turned out, protein dust was the strongest allergen, and the PVC (protein-vitamin concentrate) itself was harmful. As a result, in the city of Kirishi, 14 children died due to an accident at the treatment section of a plant. Not the government, but regular people achieved the closure of the plant.
So this huge map contains around 17 buildings (planned - around 30), a lot of green zones, since it's abandoned; ruins, connetctions, chimneys, pipes, tall workshops, high-mechanized systems and industrial equipment. The buildings subdivided on 2 categories: manufacture and office buildings. Sadly, by this moment, there is only manufacture, but later i will build offices (planned around 4 small offices and 1 main nine-floor office).
So, manufacture! It is very epic and big. Let's take a look what i've done by this time.
1. Hydrolisys manufactory. This little area contains main hydrolisys workshop-complex, two chimneys, cooling towers complex and conveyor galleries network. This is, probably, the greatest and beautiful place on the whole map.
2. CHPP. This heat-powerplant is TOP-5 biggest building on a map. By this moment it's just a chimney with main building. Soon it will get bigger. Insides are not made by now.
3. Steaming and destilling buildings. These gorgeous workshops are the first line of mineral oil procession. Steaming (red-white) is still work in progress.
4. Other things! Such as other medium-sized buildings, trees, green zones, pipes, trestles, paths, connections, galleries, towers, river, cable-stayed bridge (soon), huge treatment facilities (soon), and of course MORE cool industrial things.
So yea, i hope you will like it. Remeber, it is only 45% done, other 55% is coming this spring. Thanks for reading this post!
